How I think
I care about systems that actually work in production, not just in demos. The gap between "this works on my machine" and "this runs reliably at 3 AM with no one watching" is where the real engineering lives.
I build with the assumption that things will break, that requirements will change, and that the most important feature of any system is the ability to understand what went wrong after the fact. Observability first. Then everything else.
